This morning, just before they left. It's Mason's 2nd year at scout camp--the one that's cleeaaarr out by Yellowstone. Our ward didn't have enough leaders that could go, so, even though Lance was in charge of High Adventure and took the older boys for a week in June, he said he would go with the younger boys to this one. Mason was excited to have his dad with him this time. He's especially excited to see his dad do the Polar Bear--sit under an ice cold fresh spring water waterfall and count to 10. Oh yeah, I'll post the picture! Lance has been under the truck for 2 days, getting the trailer hitch and lights ready. It's the first time he's towed anything with his truck, but they needed him to tow up the big scout trailer. So my thought is...now we're all set to tow a boat--right?</div>Namaste!http://www.blogger.com/profile/12834526427293535988noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8275706456821154643.post-38209923889295564312009-04-08T13:47:00.000-07:002009-04-08T13:56:28.946-07:00Mom, I Really Miss That Bug...<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPlb7_pbA18nWA36kzEiCP2IdGLa6ZsO5DrNWcL5sngtrN6r-toBclLDu5VRfxBMPF1iO3ysQn4FTYuCnpdGFgjU-6yzZdElO44m1uF11EByjoecGCVMDSZZJQqGkB2-JnUZiz4zTUX4I/s1600-h/April+pics+09+073.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322426329094411154" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 320px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 240px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjPlb7_pbA18nWA36kzEiCP2IdGLa6ZsO5DrNWcL5sngtrN6r-toBclLDu5VRfxBMPF1iO3ysQn4FTYuCnpdGFgjU-6yzZdElO44m1uF11EByjoecGCVMDSZZJQqGkB2-JnUZiz4zTUX4I/s320/April+pics+09+073.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPV2COYta_GNXKkMUMVzhi2lxLOUfH87hYmXe7RMwZsz5mPuXPGf_nfeo0a32E1b1f_m7E6plVKZu6Iv9rG5Gfmy3I79L190BQfaQlw7tFDL9waY2jNcYpT7AG9xa86o7-i41oCLWmW9U/s1600-h/April+pics+09+076.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322426331479188258" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPV2COYta_GNXKkMUMVzhi2lxLOUfH87hYmXe7RMwZsz5mPuXPGf_nfeo0a32E1b1f_m7E6plVKZu6Iv9rG5Gfmy3I79L190BQfaQlw7tFDL9waY2jNcYpT7AG9xa86o7-i41oCLWmW9U/s320/April+pics+09+076.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br /><div><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikNcm6XoVOIQ1PEqw-lJZkU_0WfA2L4E6V-_wTJA3CE0sUDa_YKvAmSe37GGkxKATtevw2YC-i6H_iPvot2lgTbcRx_Dr8L83dq-z5KTGggWOWcDzejtmAvlPZzi3t2Q2TwhqT764idjc/s1600-h/April+pics+09+079.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5322426327214249266" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEikNcm6XoVOIQ1PEqw-lJZkU_0WfA2L4E6V-_wTJA3CE0sUDa_YKvAmSe37GGkxKATtevw2YC-i6H_iPvot2lgTbcRx_Dr8L83dq-z5KTGggWOWcDzejtmAvlPZzi3t2Q2TwhqT764idjc/s320/April+pics+09+079.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><br />A Day in the Life...</div><div>Emery opens up her jewelry box, and finds that one of her and her friend, Gracie's bugs are dead. Ahhh, the distress of every parent teaching young ones to ski--how do we get them to go? And where <strong>did</strong> she go??? Emery is having a great time "being a patroller just like dad". She's talking about how she's going to have to start working nights "because she's on the ski patrol at the mountain". We just love that big spirit in a little body! We got to the mountain Saturday morning, and as we were all setting up our skiis, and stepping into our bindings, lo and behold, little 5 year old Emery had already put her skiis on and was skiing away. When Lance told me she was doing well, I didn't realize she was taking command of the mountain...I caught up to her just in time to hear her telling the snowboarder slipping by on her left, "this is how you need to ski, you need to make a pizza" Oh, how she makes us smile!</div>Namaste!http://www.blogger.com/profile/12834526427293535988noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8275706456821154643.post-59250906073157567172009-02-19T19:03:00.001-08:002009-02-19T19:08:25.683-08:00Sweet Baby Colin<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQtuqi3IgbGLJj-Nt9Drelf-AdUE9gXWlgzsqNE8jIyu-G67oXTO0HRDkKDyNJdXOy6sT9jZXB-Nkvr-sp13_ZAgAQJEJR6yvE3-nS1KXq6esbHdCuN7zOK8m3RuPJfo-3XuvG1W7HMek/s1600-h/feb+17+2009.jpg"><img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5304710815051383842" style="DISPLAY: block; MARGIN: 0px auto 10px; WIDTH: 240px; CURSOR: hand; HEIGHT: 320px; TEXT-ALIGN: center" alt="" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjQtuqi3IgbGLJj-Nt9Drelf-AdUE9gXWlgzsqNE8jIyu-G67oXTO0HRDkKDyNJdXOy6sT9jZXB-Nkvr-sp13_ZAgAQJEJR6yvE3-nS1KXq6esbHdCuN7zOK8m3RuPJfo-3XuvG1W7HMek/s320/feb+17+2009.jpg" border="0" /></a><br /><div>Stacie and Colin came to see us today! I enlisted the help of the neighborhood kids--including my own--and we dug ourselves out. Just as we were finishing up, our sweet neighbor, Ricky Hawks brought the tractor over and got the ice that we'd been hacking at for an hour!</div></div></div>Namaste!http://www.blogger.com/profile/12834526427293535988noreply@blogger.com0
